The fifth edition of Prague Digital Council will focus on one of the key questions shaping European digital policy today: how to strengthen Europe’s technological sovereignty and resilience without turning towards isolation, protectionism or weaker cooperation with trusted partners. The event will bring together Czech, European and transatlantic perspectives on the newly presented European Technological Sovereignty Package and its practical implications for competitiveness, innovation and digital infrastructure.
The discussion will connect representatives of government, business and the expert community and focus in particular on cloud and AI infrastructure, semiconductors, cybersecurity, open source, public procurement and the energy and infrastructure conditions necessary for further digitalisation. A central question will be how Europe can build stronger technological capabilities and reduce strategic dependencies while remaining an open, innovative and globally connected technology ecosystem.
